She approached the Gabriel Dumont Institute to publish a posthumous tribute to her mother. The Institute immediately agreed to do so, recognizing Louise Moine’s role as one of the first residential school survivors to write about her experiences as well as for her groundbreaking memoire as a Métis woman living in southwest Saskatchewan. |
