Description: This image (by Peter Beszterda) is of a diorama of the Batoche Church Rectory. It was made by Dennis Fisher and contains painted figures of three North-West Field Force members in front of the rectory. In the background is a reprint of the painting, ``Battle of Batoche,`` which was taken from the ``Canadian Illustrated War News.`` It is part of the Dennis and Jean Fisher Collection. This collection contains archaeological artifacts taken from the battlefields of the 1885 Resistance as well as Fort Pitt (Saskatchewan), Cumberland House (Saskatchewan) and St. Peter’s Mission, Montana. The collection also includes various artifacts and ephemera relating to the 1885 Resistance and Gabriel Dumont.
