These letters include some by Louis Riel, Père N.J. Ritchot, John A. Macdonald, George-Étienne Cartier, Joseph Howe, Alexander Morris, and Archbishop Taché. They demonstrate that negotiations, both formal and informal, had been ongoing throughout the crisis. These files are large in size and may take some time to view or download.
