She attended school there and in St. Louis, Saskatchewan. She discusses her attendance at boarding schools in Ile-a-la-Crosse and St. Louis. Mary discusses the 1885 Resistance as she remembers the story her mother told her. Mary also discusses job discrimination against First Nations and Métis, welfare payments and how they have destroyed the old way of life.
