Lawrence’s interview ends with why he joined the army, his views on war and a brief story of a friend in the war. Names of Aboriginal veterans in WWI are discussed in this interview. Roderick’s interview also contains why, where, and when he enlisted during WWII. Roderick’s love for sports in evident in this interview as he shares many stories of playing sports both during the war as well as after the war. Roderick’s interview ends with his discussion of what types of pensions he receives.
