Description: Adrian was interviewed in 1976. Adrian Hope was active for fifty years in Métis political organizations in Alberta. He was involved in the first efforts to guarantee land rights for Métis people in the Edmonton area where Métis reserves had been established. He was a close friend and associate of Malcolm Norris and Jim Brady from the mid-twenties until the mid-forties when the two men left Alberta for Saskatchewan. During this interview, Adrian also discusses religion, education, scrip and Métis rights.
