Fred discusses some of the jobs that his grandfather had while Fred was growing up and what the wages for those jobs were. He lived with his grandparents for about twenty three years because his mother passed away when he was very young. He shares some of his school experiences and his work experiences. Fred also gives a general overview of the role the church played on their lives, how music and dances played a part of their social life, their political life and other sources of income such as old age pension.
